Technical Director / IT Director West Midlands 45K to 70K + Bonus + Future Shares
Looking for a dynamic and successful software professional to join its Senior Management Team as Technical Director. The successful candidate will lead a talented team of Software Developers, and a small Team of Project Managers and Technical Operations staff. The role will suit someone who wants a big challenge and enjoys working in a demanding environment where change is a constant and innovation in product and process are expected. We work with a large number of FTSE clients. We are also making international expansion plans and would hope that the Technical Director can play a key part in this. Age is not a boundary for us, talent, drive and work ethic are the key. We have no problem in you being an ambitious Manager that is ready for the next step. However geographically, we expect you to be within a 1 hour commute from our West Midlands base. The role reports to the MD.

Key to the role is product innovation behind a strong technology direction and roadmap that is aligned to the company mission and vision.

• Track record in managing a development team to deliver multiple projects to
  challenging deadlines
• Track record of managing the relationship between a development team and the
  business that they support
• Excellent spoken, written and communication skills
• Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
• A professional manner
• Good business and commercial sense and the ability to work achieve business commercial and strategic plans.
