Tester required by leading Cutting Edge Technology Company based in Cambridge, East Anglia. Key Responsibilities: - * Reporting to Test Team Lead * Transforming bug reports into reproducible test cases for developers * Manual regression testing of systems and websites during regular software releases * Testing new features and bug fixes on development systems * Input into design and implementation of automated test systems Experience and Qualifications: - * Relevant university degree or commercial qualification * Minimum 1 years experience in software testing or website or mobile application testing in a commercial, high technology environment * Familiarity with bug tracking and version control tools * Knowledge of automated test tools and scripting languages desirable * Experience of testing wireless technology or electronic devices an advantage About You: - * Genuine enthusiasm for testing / quality assurance * Enjoy working in a multi-skilled team in a fast moving development environment * Respond positively to changing priorities and parallel tasks * Persistent and thorough with attention to detail, while working against deadlines * Able to form and clearly communicate conclusions from test results in complex systems
